Trusted Servant Reports

Facilitator: No Report.

Co-Facilitator: It’s Been an interesting month and should be an interesting area. Subcomittees have gone well this morning. We will need to clarify whether having area at Coulee is temporary or semi permanent. The Literature chair has resigned so we will need to have an election. There are some disputes and conflicts that need to be discussed. Deb W.

RCM: See attatchment.

RCMA: I truly enjoyed the opportunity to explore Narcotics Anonymous Service outside of our area. I met a lot of new friends/family. I learned a lot about service that I never thought about before. I truly look forward to serving our area and the addict who still suffers in Stevens point, WI March 2006 ILS Stacy P.

Secretary: I am grateful to still be serving the BRA as secretary. I however, do not feel it is necessary to be told every single month how to do this job. I am human, I make mistakes. When those occur, please bring them to my attention so that I may be prepared to make the corrections during the BRASC. We all have our own personal way of doing things, and the changes should be welcomed by all. If you as GSRs are unhappy with the way I have been doing the minutes then please do not elect me during the elections. I would however like to add that I am grateful for this opportunity to serve. I would enjoy another term as secretary. ILS Stacy P.

Treasurer: See attachment.

Policy: We are doing well, no major changes. There were to issues brought to this subcomittee. One having to deal with a situation regarding the facility where a meeting is held. The other was about being frugal with funds. Dean H.

Activities: no report.

H & I: no report.

Literature: Gregg B brought the literature inventory to CCA this morning and said that he is done and somebody else can sell the literature. Acting Literature chair, Denny V.

PI: Going well, Website is up. Bigriversareana.org Signs are up in buses. T.V./Radio PSA’s close to getting air time. Michael C.

Outreach/Additional needs: No report.

Convention Ad-Hoc: Not very well. People are volunteering for things then disappearing without the job being done. We will be setting a new time and place for meetings of the sub-committee. We need people to help, we are 18 months out from a possible convention. We are not quite at the point of throwing in the towel, but something needs to happen soon or we will need to. ILS Chris B.

Group Service Representative Reports

A New Vision: No report.

Amethyst: Avg. Attendance: 20-25 Newcomers: 5-10 weekly. We meet behind the Laar House at 7:30 pm on Thursday Nights. It has been brought to my attention that our group has been accused of “AA bashing” by the actual facility that we have our meetings. We have been asked to send someone from our group to meet with people at the Laar house on Monday morning to discuss whether or not we should be allowed to meet there anymore. Terry S. said he will attend. Shawn W. GSR

Attendance:25-40 Newcomers: 2 We meet at 161 West Broadway on Monday nights at 7pm, and Tuesdays and Thursdays at noon. We also meet at 1313 West broadway on Thursday nights at 6pm. All in Winona MN. We need this area to start being financially prudent. We are very concerned about this areas ability to be financially responsible. We are also concerned about this areas ability to stick to its decisions. Very often we decide something one month and the next month we redecide it as if the decision was never made. These things need to change and we hope this area will begin developing solutions to this problem. ILS Chris B. GSR
